Empowering Justice through accessible Legal information
The Court of Appeal of the United Republic of Tanzania is the highest level in the justice delivery system in Tanzania. It is established under article 117 (1) of the Constitution. It has jurisdiction to hear and determine appeals arising from decisions of the High Court of Tanzania, the High Court of Zanzibar, Magistrates with extended jurisdiction, the Tax Revenue Appeals Tribunal and the Capital Markets Tribunal.
